Chris Brown has carved out a legendary career for himself. Brown finished off a much-talked-about tour by himself about a year ago. In May, Chris Brown released his 12th album called Brown, and it was a double disc. If that wasn’t enough, it was announced that he would headline a tour with Usher. The now 37-year-old Brown released his first album back in late 2005. The self-titled debut album was a huge success after selling over four million copies. Run It!, Yo (Excuse Me Miss), and the Gimme That (Remix) helped propel him into an instant superstar. Almost two years later, Chris Brown returned with his second album called Exclusive. Exclusive was another successful album from Chris Brown, and it also sold over four million copies. Wall to Wall, Kiss Kiss, With You, and Take You Down were the four singles released from the album.
Kiss Kiss featured T-Pain, and it was an instant smash. The single went platinum itself quickly. On August 23, 2019, the single was certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of over four million copies in the United States. Kiss Kiss” received a nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 50th Grammy Awards Kiss Kiss featuring T-Pain is my featured Throwback Thursday track of the week.
