Project Pat Chickenhead for Throwback Thursday

Project Pat Chickenhead for Throwback Thursday

Project Pat is an affiliate of the Three 6 Mafia and older brother of Juicy J. Pat released his debut album in 1999, and it was called Ghetty Green. The production was primarily handled by DJ Paul and Juicy J, who also served as executive producers. It features guest appearances from Three 6 Mafia, Cash Money Millionaires, Crucial Conflict, Krayzie Bone and Noreaga. The album’s title is a Memphis slang term for money. The following year, Project Pat gained mainstream attention for his hook on Sippin’ on Some Syrup. The following year, Project Pat returned with his second album called Mista Don’t Play: Everythangs Workin. It became his best-selling album by going gold and it was spearheaded by his first single, Chickenhead. Chickenhead became a national treasure and it’s my featured Throwback Thursday of the week. Chickenhead featured Three 6 Mafia and La Chat.

My playlist this week consisted of the new Game mixtape, debut album from Run DMC, and Tha Carter from Wayne. Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On and the Kings Disease III from Nas was also played. As far as the world is concerned, the Winter Olympics has wrapped up and it’s without controversy. The main talking issues involved the Men and Women USA Hockey teams. Spring training has begun in baseball, and the season will begin before you know it. Javonte Williams re-signed with Dallas and Kyle Pitts Sr. is getting franchise tagged. T.I. released a diss track towards 50 Cent after 50 posted a picture making fun of his wife. As you can see, there’s a lot that went on the last week. Check out the video for Chickenhead above. Below you can check out the track listing and stream link for the Mista Don’t Play album.
