AEW is returning to the Chicago area for one of its biggest pay-per-views of the year. AEW All Out 2026 takes place Saturday, September 26, from NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The show is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, with fans in the United States able to watch on HBO Max and through other PPV options. WWE will also run an event in Illinois and it’s AAA’s Worlds Collide.

This year’s All Out card is loaded with championship matches, heated rivalries, and several bouts that could have major implications for AEW heading into the final months of 2026.

At the top of the card is Will Ospreay defending the AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley. There will also be a wild three-way match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship, Kazuchika Okada defending against Tommaso Ciampa, Andrade El Idolo battling PAC, and much more.

Will Ospreay vs. Jon Moxley

The biggest match of the night will see AEW World Champion Will Ospreay defend against Jon Moxley.

Ospreay captured the AEW World Championship by defeating Kenny Omega at All In: London on August 30. Now, less than a month into his reign, Ospreay faces one of the toughest competitors AEW has ever had.

Moxley brings a completely different style than Ospreay. While Ospreay thrives on speed, athleticism, and explosive offense, Moxley is perfectly comfortable turning a wrestling match into a fight.

Their rivalry has intensified throughout September. The September 16 episode of Dynamite saw Moxley and the Death Riders team with Gabe Kidd to defeat Ospreay, Andrade El Idolo, and Francesco Akira.

With the AEW World Championship on the line, expect this one to be physical.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Three-Way Match

One of the matches I’m most excited about features Adam Copeland & Christian Cage defending the AEW World Tag Team Championship against FTR and The Young Bucks.

Adding chairs, ladders, and tables to a match involving these three teams creates the potential for absolute chaos.

FTR and The Young Bucks already have plenty of history with each other, while Copeland and Christian bring decades of experience in major tag-team matches.

This could easily become one of the matches everyone is talking about when All Out ends.

Trav’s Prediction: Adam Copeland & Christian Cage retain.

Kazuchika Okada vs. Tommaso Ciampa

Kazuchika Okada will defend the AEW International Championship against Tommaso Ciampa.

On paper, this could be one of the strongest pure wrestling matches on the card.

Okada remains one of the most accomplished wrestlers of his generation, while Ciampa brings an aggressive style and plenty of experience in championship matches.

Trav’s Prediction: Kazuchika Okada retains.

Andrade El Idolo vs. PAC

Another intriguing championship match will see AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo defend against PAC.

The match was confirmed following the September 19 episode of Collision. Andrade retained his championship against Daniel Garcia before PAC emerged as his next challenger.

Andrade and PAC are two wrestlers capable of combining technical wrestling, athleticism, and hard-hitting offense. Don’t overlook this one.

Trav’s Prediction: Andrade El Idolo retains.

Women’s World Tag Team Championship Chicago Street Fight

The women’s division will also get a chance to deliver one of the more violent matches of the evening.

The Brawling Birds — Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor — will battle Divine Dominion’s Megan Bayne and Lena Kross in a Chicago Street Fight for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship.

With Street Fight rules in play, this probably won’t resemble a traditional tag-team match for very long.

Trav’s Prediction: The Brawling Birds retain.

Thekla vs. Willow Nightingale

Thekla and Willow Nightingale will meet with something significant at stake: a future AEW Women’s World Championship opportunity at WrestleDream.

The contrast between Willow’s power and Thekla’s unpredictable offense should make this an interesting matchup.

Trav’s Prediction: Willow Nightingale wins.

AEW World Trios Championship Match

The AEW World Trios Championship will also be defended at All Out, with Swerve Strickland, Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed scheduled to face Hangman Page, Bandido and Brody King.

There is a ridiculous amount of talent involved here, and the different styles should create plenty of possibilities.

Trav’s Prediction: Swerve Strickland, Kofi Kingston & Austin Creed retain.

Darby Allin & Steven Borden vs. Kyle Fletcher & Kevin Knight

Darby Allin and Steven Borden will face Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight in a match to determine the No. 1 contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

With a future title opportunity waiting for the winners, this match could establish another major tag-team rivalry going forward.

Trav’s Prediction: Darby Allin & Steven Borden win.

All Out Tailgate Brawl

Before the main card, fans will also have additional action.

Jack Perry is scheduled to face Katsuyori Shibata, while Jay White, Ace Austin, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn battle David Finlay, Clark Connors, Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia.

Final Thoughts

AEW All Out has traditionally been one of the promotion’s signature events, and the 2026 edition has plenty going for it.

Will Ospreay vs. Jon Moxley gives the show a major world championship main event, while Copeland & Christian vs. FTR vs. The Young Bucks has all the ingredients for a memorable tag-team spectacle. Okada vs. Ciampa and Andrade vs. PAC give wrestling fans even more championship action.

The biggest question is whether Ospreay can continue his new championship reign or whether Moxley will once again find himself standing at the top of AEW.
