The 2026 NFL season is already giving us plenty to talk about. After three weeks, we’ve seen surprising starts, disappointing performances, injuries and teams beginning to establish themselves as legitimate contenders. My Week 3 NFL Predictions garnered an 8-8 record, which is my worst week thus far. My overall record is now 30-16 and my overall mark dips from 73.3% to 65.2%. My first loss came when the Atlanta Falcons went to Green Bay and blew out the Packers 35-14. My second defeat came when the Indianapolis Colts took down the Houston Texans. The Texans were one of my top 5 AFC teams to start the season and they’re still winless.
Pittsburgh held down the fort at home by handing the Bengals their first loss and my third defeat. My fourth loss came as a surprise as the Washington Commanders took down the defending champion, Seattle Seahawks. My fifth loss came when the Minnesota Vikings went to Tampa and beat the Bucs. Baker Mayfield injured his thumb and could be loss for the next three weeks. Las Vegas remains undefeated by beating the Saints, which turned into my sixth loss. My seventh defeat came when Baltimore kicked a field goal as time expired to defeat the Dallas Cowboys. The eighth and final loss of the week came in controversial fashion when the Rams fell to the Broncos.
Now it’s time for Week 4. This is the final weekend of picking all of the games. Moving forward, I’ll only concentrate on competitive games.
This week’s schedule gives us divisional battles, an early-morning London matchup, several intriguing interconference games and some big-time prime-time matchups. As always, I’m going through every game and making my picks.
Here are my NFL Week 4 predictions for the 2026 season.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns
Week 4 begins with an AFC North battle on Thursday Night Football. Pittsburgh is coming off a 30-27 victory over Cincinnati, while Cleveland edged Carolina 21-18 in Week 3. Every team in the AFC North enters this week with a 2-1 record.
Divisional games between these teams tend to be physical, and I expect another close one. I’m trusting Pittsburgh to make enough plays late to escape Cleveland with the win. Trav’s Pick: Steelers Win
Indianapolis Colts vs. Washington Commanders
The NFL heads to London for an early Sunday matchup between Indianapolis and Washington.
Both teams earned close victories in Week 3. Indianapolis defeated Houston 19-17, while Washington survived Seattle 33-31.
This could be one of the better games of the week. Daniel Jones gets to face a familiar NFC foe in Washington. The Colts have a sleeper team and could use a heavy dose of Jonathan Taylor to lead them to victory. Trav’s Pick: Colts Win
Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens
Tennessee’s offense struggled in its 12-7 loss to the Giants last week. Things don’t get any easier with a trip to Baltimore. Tennessee have a very underrated defense, but the offense still struggles. It feels like the tougher the opponent, the more motivated they are.
The Ravens went into Dallas and came away with an impressive 34-31 victory. Baltimore’s offense should have opportunities to put points on the board again. Trav’s Pick: Ravens Win
New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills
New England is looking to rebound after Jacksonville handed the Patriots a 35-6 loss. There’s nothing like a good AFC East battle. These two teams were picked to finish atop the AFC East this season.
Buffalo, meanwhile, defeated the Chargers 24-16. Playing the Bills in Buffalo after a rough performance is a difficult assignment for New England.
There have been questions about the performance of Drake Maye this season. I expect Buffalo to control this AFC East matchup. Trav’s Pick: Bills Win
New York Jets at Chicago Bears
Chicago enters Week 4 with momentum after defeating Philadelphia 27-7 on Monday night despite having to turn to veteran Case Keenum at quarterback.
The Jets lost 31-24 to Detroit and now face another NFC North opponent.
Chicago’s quarterback situation is something to watch, but the Bears showed Monday that they can find ways to win even when dealing with injuries. The Jets are 1-2 but could easily be 3-0 at this point. New York is playing much better, but I’m picking Chicago to win again at home. Trav’s Pick: Bears Win
Jacksonville Jaguars at Cincinnati Bengals
Jacksonville had one of the most impressive performances of Week 3, beating New England 35-6.
Cincinnati fell 30-27 to Pittsburgh and will be looking to get back on track at home. Jacksonville had two of the more impressive wins over Cleveland and New England this season.
This feels like a potential shootout. I’m going with Cincinnati in a close one, but Jacksonville could easily make this one of Week 4’s most entertaining games. Trav’s Pick: Jaguars Win
Dallas Cowboys at Houston Texans
The Cowboys came up just short against Baltimore, losing 34-31. Houston also suffered a close defeat, falling 19-17 to Indianapolis.
Both teams desperately want to avoid another loss. I’m not going with the Texans again because I’ve picked them the first three weeks.
I think Dallas finds a way to finish the job this time. Trav’s Pick: Cowboys Win
Arizona Cardinals at New York Giants
Arizona scored 30 points against San Francisco but still walked away with a loss. The Giants defeated Tennessee 12-7. Brian Burns went down with an ACL injury and that’s a huge loss for the Giants.
New York’s defense could keep this close, but Arizona showed enough offensively against San Francisco for me to give the Cardinals the advantage. Trav’s Pick: Cardinals Win
Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles
This is one of my favorite matchups of Week 4.
The Rams lost a tough 30-26 game in Denver, while Philadelphia is coming off a disappointing 27-7 Monday night loss in Chicago. Philadelphia committed 10 penalties against the Bears and struggled to sustain its offense. I expect a much better performance at home, but the Rams are capable of making this another difficult afternoon.
The Rams waited for this game to bring back Puka Nacua. These were my top 2 NFC teams to begin the season, and neither can’t suffer a defeat. Seeing how Case Keenum ripped a part the Eagles defense, I’m picking Stafford to do the same. Trav’s Pick: Rams Win
Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay received terrible news after its Week 3 loss to Minnesota. Quarterback Baker Mayfield suffered a dislocated thumb and is expected to miss at least three weeks.
That means rookie Jalon Daniels is expected to start against Green Bay. Daniels is a very talented quarterback that played his college ball in Kansas.
The Packers were beaten 35-14 by Atlanta last Thursday, so they have plenty to prove themselves. With Tampa Bay’s quarterback situation, I’m taking Green Bay to rebound. Trav’s Pick: Packers Win
Miami Dolphins at Minnesota Vikings
Miami lost 24-10 to Kansas City, while Minnesota picked up a 23-16 road win against Tampa Bay. One team is undefeated and the other is winless. Miami will have a shot to get their first win because the Vikings could be without Justin Jefferson.
Minnesota gets this one at home, and I like the Vikings to keep their momentum going. Plus, Brian Flores used to coach Miami, and he will want to make an example out of them. Trav’s Pick: Vikings Win
Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders
Who had the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas 3-0 before this matchup? It’s always fun when Kansas City and Las Vegas meet.
The Chiefs defeated Miami 24-10 last week, while the Raiders put up 35 points in a win over New Orleans. This could turn out to be one of the better games this weekend.
Las Vegas could make this interesting, especially at home, but I’m not picking against Kansas City in this divisional matchup. Trav’s Pick: Chiefs Win
Los Angeles Chargers at Seattle Seahawks
Seattle lost a heartbreaker to Washington, 33-31, while the Chargers fell 24-16 against Buffalo.
Both teams enter Week 4 trying to bounce back. It’s hard to believe that the Los Angeles Chargers are 0-3. It doesn’t get any better with a trip to Seattle to face the defending champions.
The Chargers defense is still one of the better ones in the league. Playing in Seattle is never easy, and I think the Seahawks use their home-field advantage to win a close game. Trav’s Pick: Seahawks Win
Denver Broncos at San Francisco 49ers
Denver enters this game after beating the Rams 30-26. San Francisco remained unbeaten by defeating Arizona 36-30.
The 49ers have scored at least 30 points in each of their first three games and their offense continues to make plays. The Broncos defense hasn’t been up to par like they were last season. This could be one of the better games of the weekend.
Denver will test them, but I’m sticking with San Francisco at home. Trav’s Pick: 49ers Win
Detroit Lions at Carolina Panthers
Sunday Night Football features Detroit traveling to Carolina. Jahmyr Gibbs has began the season on a record pace.
Detroit beat the Jets 31-24 in Week 3, while Carolina lost 21-18 to Cleveland.
Carolina should be competitive at home, but Detroit’s offense gives the Lions the advantage. Trav’s Pick: Lions Win
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints
Week 4 concludes with an NFC South rivalry on Monday Night Football. This has been labeled as the 20th anniversary of the reopening of the Dome after Hurricane Catrina.
Atlanta made a major statement last Thursday by beating Green Bay 35-14 at Lambeau Field. New Orleans, meanwhile, allowed 35 points in its loss to Las Vegas.
Divisional road games are rarely easy, but I’m riding with Atlanta after what we saw against Green Bay. Trav’s Pick: Saints Win
